I am thinking about getting an acog and i was wondering if the standard front sight of an ar15 would be seen through the reticle if i mount it on a flat top ar15.

Trust me - it blurs out, just leave it alone.

One way would be to remove your front sight and replace it with a flip front sight. There are a few different types available.

The two options below will cost you approx $80.00 give or take a few. Shop around an d you will likely find it cheaper.
Yankee Hill BUIS Front Flip Sight /Gas Block w/Bayonet Lug

Yankee Hill Machine Flip up Front Sight with Bottom Rail

Another options ... likely more expensive, would be to replace your front sight with a railed gas block like shown below. If you do that then you would have to get a front flip sight that mounts to a rail.
