[ARCHIVED THREAD] - front sight question

this might be a dumb question, but i'm still new to the AR world. do i need a tool to adjust the elevation on the front post sight on my CMMG M4?

You could use a tool.

or the tip of a cartridge.

or a ball point pen.

or a nail.

Whichever you prefer.

all of the above work but this does make it easier tho. you can get them pretty cheap at gun shows

Definitely a plus if you ever decide to remove the post for any reason. Try starting to screw in a post with a bullet tip.
