I am using a MI flip up front site

I have a standard front site tool, but it is 4 prong.  I bought it for my first M4 Bushmaster which has standard post sights

I took out my other M4 today with is an OR set up and I have my sight tool, but it looks like the MI sights take something different lake maybe a 2 post.

any advice??
If I filed off two of the opposing post from my standard tool would it work on these BUIS and would is still work on my other M4 ?

Use a nail or a bullet to rotate the post

Bullet tip for the detent and a pair of pliers to rotate the post?

It's not ideal, I scratched my post doing this method, but it works and they aren't supposed to be beauty queens.

I did that first thing and it didn't feel right on these BUIS so I backed off
ETA

after being back home I did get a round of ammo to work the sight

but I think I'm just going to buy the tool from MI for under $10 and be done with it

I guess the A2 style tool will not fit the BUIS

You won't regret getting the right tool.
