Im building a 6.8mm upper. Im using an armalite flattop picatinny rail gas block. It sling mount function appears identical to the front sight gas block function. These gas blocks have a pin hole at the bottom that looks to be used for installing a sling mount doohickie. So where eaactly can I find that metal deallio that accepts the nylon sling, and attaches via a roll pin to the gas block? And what is the proper tem for this? I looked at DSG and Midway and brownells and they have tons of sling mounts and adapters but I couldnt find what I thought I needed. Do I need what I think I need? |
