put 2 seperate trigger spring kits into 2 seperate rifles. the olde one of the two is lighter asa far as pull but it isn't smooth feeling and there is alot of take up before firing. the newer rifle is great, same springs installed. how do i get rid of the gritty feel, i can live with the take up

The gritty feeling is usually anodizing.  Where did you polish?  You need to either fire a few hundred rounds to smooth it out or polish the contact points of the trigger & hammer.
