I never bought any, but I have seen a few others complain about popped primers.  Doesn't really matter to most, I don't think.  It's all gone.  At least from the places most would buy from to stock up on.  You might find someone selling their private stash.

I've shot up 1200 rnds with no problems.  Mine was '00-'01.  Grouped 4-6" @ 100 yds.

The only problem I've had with it after roughly 4000 rounds down range is that I wish I'd bought twice as much as I did (not that I don't still have a bunch on hand).

I had MAJOR problems with Guat last Spring while attending the Front Sight Shooting Insitute.  I was shooting Grade 1 ammo (bright/shiney).  I had numerous popped primers, flattened primers with numerous FTE and double feeds.  I was running a Colt 6921.  I ended up paying out the a$$ for Front Sight Ammo (AE 55gr) to complete the 4-day rifle course.

I never have had a problem with it, I just wish I had bought more before it was gone. I only have a thousand rounds of it left. I do kinda like it better than the Radway 5.56. but thats just me.

Not had any issues with any of mine I've shot. Never seen a popped primer yet with it with my personal firearms.

FWIW, I don't believe I have any 00" dated.

I just bumped the Guat thread to the top for you to look at and tag onto.  Definitely put this info in here.

As for my experience with Guat:  I have a whole 3 boxes out in the garage that I bought to try out (all the guy had).  So no rounds down range yet... Sorry.

I've shot 500-rds of the 55-gr IMG 5.56 M193 ammo dated 01 with ZERO problems thru a trio of Colt and Bushy ARs. Groups are 2-3" at 100-yds. I like it better than the RORG 63-gr SS-109 ammo too.

I have shot thousands and thousands..... never had a flat, pierced, or popped primer.  Most of mine is 90's vintage.... but it has been great.  Only had a single dud primer - and that was using a modified trigger.... so I can totally blame the primer.  I love the stuff and it is my primary blasting ammo.

It groups for crap, however.
