| has anyone used gunzilla? i got a sample ,but havent seen any post about it . |
| Been using it for about three weeks and it is beyond a doubt the best CLP product I have ever used. Made from plant extracts so theres just a mild but nice smell and a little goes a long way. When I first got it, I took out three of my 1911s, two HK P7's and both ARs. I thought they were all spotless but the GZ found crap in places I thought you could do the white glove test on. After doing the ARs, I hit the range and put 300 rounds thru them without any additional lube. Functioned flawlessly and cleaning was a breeze. One patch with the GZ thru the barrel followed by two dry was all it took. It's a dry lube and I was one of those who always heard and preached that you run an AR wet, not with this stuff. Clean and wipe it off and the protectrive coating left is all you need. A test was run on a couple of full autos guns (Colts), one was cleaned lubed with Breakfree, the other with GZ, I believe they ran 500 rounds thru each and the gun treated with GZ ran 53 degress cooler than the other. It also provides better rust protection. I usually just laugh at all the hype associated with new cleaners and lubes but I decided to give this one a try and I'm very glad that I did. Before this I was using M-Pro-7 or SLIP products, the GZ IMO is much better. Apparently it's pretty popular in the sandbox and at least 7 fed agencies are using it. Try it and let me know what you think and trust me I am in now way, shape or form associated with the company! |

Well, I have been usng Gunzilla for about 4 months in both an AR and a 40 cal XD. Time is relative, it depends on how many rounds you put thru the weapon. Since using Gunzilla, I have fired approx. 1000 rounds and I like thus stuff. It is a good product, cleans well, does not stink like crude oil, and company is a "small business." I have a half a bottle left and I am going for more....
The secret to first time use is to let it sit for about 15 minutes for it penetrate the crap that is the bolt and barrell. You would be surprised to see how much additional buildup is removed from what you thought was a clean weapon. |
