| i recently got a dd m4 with the 12 rail and all that jazz. seems to be a well made rifle. havent fired it yet but as i was looking it over, i found that it is supossed to have the h buffer. the buffer doesnt have the h marking on it. i also noticed that the safety lever looked old and beat up. this isnt a problem, but im worried that someone switched the buffer before it got to me. this is a brand new rifle not used. do all h buffers have the h markings? |

every H buffer I have ever seen was marked with a big capital "H" Same here. If you have a scale, just weigh your buffer and you'll know exactly what you have. dont have a scale |

daniel defense also doesn't mark their bolts as MP'ed,, i called them and asked this,, they assured me [as well as a bunch of others] that they certainly were. if this is a DD rifle, i guess this is just the way they do things. Their bolts are definitely MP tested. |
