[ARCHIVED THREAD] - handguard cap

im finishing up my m4 build and i see theres two dffrent kinds of handguard caps, a standard round and a notched round m4 cap.... both of these on cmmg's site im about to order the barrel assembly... i am also ordering an m4 kac ras to go acompany the barrel, witch handguard cam would you reccoment?

There is a 3rd type. It's the original triangle cap. I used one on my midlength build with rifle style handguards.

witch type would work w/ the kac m4 ras?

Looks like the standard round cap is used in this photo.

The notched cap is for a M4 carbine. It allows mounting of an M203.
