You can't. The head space for the barrel is set by who ever put the barrel extension on the barrel. The bolt head space is set by who ever machined the bolt(Head space isn't really set by the bolt though. All bolt should be the same spec).
Competent manufactures should have both in spec. So, if you buy an upper from one source and a BCG from another, you shouldn't have head space problems. It doesn't hurt to check though. |
