| looking for something with 2-10x magnification, basic crosshairs as a reticle and externally adjustable turrets. i would jump on the m223 from nikon but that one is calibrated for a 55 grain bullet and i do not want to be locked into a specific ammo. |
| SWFA was doing a promo 10% off the 3-9 SS so that would take it to $540. As for weaver, I am guessing that your talking about the 3-10 mil/mil from Midway for $299. All reviews I have read on that scope have been pretty positive, the only knocks are that it's a 1 inch tube so limited adjustment range, and that no accesories like a sunshade are available. It's also a SFP scope so the Mildots are only accurate at 10x. The SS is a FFP scope so the mildots are accurate at all magnification ranges. |

I was looking at that scope too. One review I read said that the eye relief was a little picky on max mag, but otherwise the glass was really nice. Nice scope at a really nice price. I need more rifles for my scopes... |
