I am getting ready to build an AR using up some of the spare parts that I have accumulated.  So far the rifles that I use have Bushmaster upper recievers.  Bushmaster claims that their uppers are coated inside with teflon or something.  I was wodering if any of the other uppers on the market (RRA, Armalite) would wear just as well as a Bushmaster.  Even though I am building a parts gun, I would like to use quality components that will last with proper maintenance.

I would use LMT if I wanted the M4 feed ramp cuts.  Otherwise it's RRA.

I used a RRA on my first build. Fit and finish is first rate.

And you can get CMT uppers with the M4 cuts.
