[ARCHIVED THREAD] - how long to wait?

just checked the UPS web site and the tracking number said my new stag model 2
was delieved and signed for at my ffl dealer at 2:44 P.M. so how long should i
wait before i call to ask when i can fill out the paper work and such? yeah it's
only been 45 minutes but they should have called me by now and notified me
that it arrived!!! j/k

i would have been on my way to the dealer 45 minutes ago when i saw it was delivered and signed for, but that's just me

The fact that you haven't left your work and drove over there at MUCH more than the speed limit proves you don't deserve the rifle!

(That was of course me being silly. Grats on the purchase!)

I'm in the same boat, my colt 6920 arrived at the dealer at 2:15. But I can't sneak out of work till 4:00

My upper kit should be sitting on my own front porch... Can't duck out early... Also should be a case of ammo, and 10 more mags... Happy delivery day indeed.

I've had this happen a few times. I just go there and say "You have my gun." They always say, "We just got it today and haven't called you yet." I always leave with my gun. Go now!

My dealer doesn't open it till i get there. Why aren't you there yet?
