| ok so ive been reading and researching different lpk's and im stuck on which one to get. Now i dont really care about price so long as im gettin outstanding quality for it. i deffinatly do not want this to fail on me. so what do you guys thing. please post failures youve had with which lpk, what good things about which etc. ive heard rra has a faulty trigger, cmmg usually has pieces missing, dpms is just crap, stag is ok not the best quality, colt and lmt are the best and ive heard the complete opposite of everything stated above, so i want a billion posts so i can gather my own data before i pick and lpk please and thank you. |
| I just got my Spike's Tactical Enhanced LPK for $150. Some of the "better than average" parts include: ambi- selector, KNS anti-roll pins, Ergo grip with Spike's logo, Spike's logo'd enhanced trigger guard (fills the gap), and nickel boron coated hammer, trigger, and disconnector (single stage). I'd buy it again. |

I really haven't had any problems with the DPMS. This is also a viable option, as are many others. Biggest fallacy with DPMS is the pesky trigger guard roll pin. Ream out the guard itself (NOT the lower) first with 1/8 drill bit for best results. I prefer the Stag though, coiled pins drive more easily and trigger pull is pretty nice. YMMV. JUST GET ONE AND GET ON WITH IT. |

well ive never built an ar before so im not 100% what im looking for. i do know i just dont want a lpk known for faulty parts. and so far looks like stag is winning. im still working on getting some research from those spikes lpks because like i said they look nice. im going to a gun show in kentucky this weekend and hopefully ill have my gsg mp5 sold and my microtech combat troodon sold by then so ill have some extra spending money and im hopefully coming home with a stripped lower atleast. btw if anyone is interested in either gun or knife. send my an email at [email protected] need to sell asap |

Why ask again here? You just went out and got stuff that wasn't recommended a sinlge time with your first post. Seems like you're wasting everyone's time?? ...but maybe that's just me... Good luck!
