Like I said I try not to get too wrapped up on looks, but I do take it into consideration. The tac scopes are generally just cosmetically bland to me , and the endless slew of cantilever mounts are just an eyesore to me personally. It also seems like the more reasonable the price, the larger the scope, 6 inches would be ideal imo, typically they are 10 and quite heavy. I love the reticles around these days and give in the next few years they will be improved and refined. I'm not in the $1000 optic crowd and won't be. Just won't For many reasons. The leupold pictured above is unique and I hope it's emulated. |
