Not even close. There was a guy who used to be here a few years back who was part of a company, Hayes Precision or something like that. They made that upper you see. As far as I can remember, it was a normal DI upper (not sure though, it's been a few years-might have been an earlier piston), but with a fixed charging handle that you see on the side of the bolt carrier, hence the big cut out on the upper. It obviously could double as a forward assist. They also made a limited number of a more refined version the FSB you see in that picture. It had a ring around the FSP like on HKs. I've been searching high and low for that company and the products they made, but with no luck. |
