I'm preseuming you don't actually want a 24" long forearm............  Consider the YHM Customizable tube. You can put the rails where you want them and it won't break the bank. I've had no problems from mine. PRi would be another option, I believe (have no personal experience with them.) Considerably more expensive though. Good luck. |
| the ymh looks more like what i'm looking for. going to have to email them about how to get the rails for the kit, as it doesn't come with them. i'm thinking a long one on the top and a short one on the bottom. that way i can do all the optics i want on the top and a bipod/swing swivel on the bottom. |
They sell the rails for the tube......look just below the tubes on this page (which I should've posted in the first place!  ) Looks like they're out f stock on the rifle length tubes, though.I don't think you'll be disappointed by the YHM tube.

that's a beautiful rig. almost what i'm looking for. i'm going to go with the 12" rail on top of the free float so i can move the optic farther away from my eye.... for better relief. does anyone make a blued 24" barrel or am i'm going to have to teflon coat it? |
