Picked up my new billet 3h lower from mega today to SBR and went to install a geissele SD-c I pulled out of my kac(replaced with a sd3g) and I can't get the pins in the lower.I know the trigger is good as ive probably got 1600 rounds with it so I'm leaning towards the lower being the issue.I tired calling mega to confirm its a .154 pin lower (not sure why it wouldn't be) but it was all but impossible to pick the right option from the menu.
Am I screwing something up here?(doubtful) should I run a drill bit through there carefully? Anyone else have this issue before? *false alarm they went in fine it just took more force than I was normally use to.All is good |

If that doesn't work, get out the dremel and just enlarge the holes a bit until it fits ok. (actually not! DO NOT DRILL) |
| Just installed an SSA-E in a mega billet lower. It was my first time installing a trigger so I don't have a comparison, but it took a LOT of pressure to get the pins in. I read somewhere that this is typical with Mega lowers. I ended up pounding pretty hard but once they were in everything looked and functioned perfectly. I don't plan on swapping triggers so it's comforting knowing that it was such a tight fit. |
