i am trying to loosen the jam nut on a yhm ff rail.  if i am facing the business end of the rifle, which direction should i be trying to turn it? is the barrel nut, rail, and jam nut tightened clockwise?   do i loosen the jam nut before i can loosen the rail? any videos or picture instructions on how to remove it?  it seems to be stuck in there good. any help would be wonderful, thanks in advance!

get it in an action block, heat it up , the Jam nut with a torch.as you are looking at it use a wrench so the handle is on the right side and push down. OR get on the right side as you are facing it get a LARGE heavy bladed screwdriver that fits in the notch on the Jam nut pick the best angle on one of the notches on the right side (as you look at it) to Hit down to break the nut loose.

it makes it ALOT easier if installed correctly, the rail part loosens in the opposite direction. did you install it , some use red locktite and you have to heat it to about 350 to break it down.
