Has anyone had a chance to install Midwest Industries AR-10 , 2 piece forearm on a Rock River Lar 8. Just wondering if they will fit. Thanks in advance for the help.

RRA threads on the upper receiver are about 1/8" shorter than the AR10 upper receiver. You will have to cook up a spacer or something to make up
the difference.

I received the MI , 2piece drop-in AR-10 handguards and they dropped right in on the Rock River LAR-8. Excellent fit and finish. Rock solid.

Which LAR-8 version was this? Just want to make sure they will fit the mid-length before ordering them. I got an email from Troy at MI saying that they would not fit.

Mid length carbine. They fit fine on mine. They are not FF, just the drop in model.
