Was wondering if anyone has one and if so how far does it light out to positively ID a coyote.. I have a leupold mark AR scope and have dogs that like to hang out between 2-300 yards. I know the coyote light seems to be the best thing out due to being red and being able to reach out 500 yards but im not spending 400 on a light. So any personal experience would be aces!

well it was hard to judge performance of actual light output as we had full moon last night. One thing i did notice is it doesnt seem to bolt on very sturdy and seems to move a bit. I will have to mess with it some to see as i was excited to get it on the gun and go outside and give it a try. It did come in a very strong packaging box, and included a nice sturdy zippered case for all of it, and a smaller belt type case for light.(which i will probably never use.) The light seems light and i dont notice the weight of it on the rifle. First impressions are meh///// so so. but to give it a chance i will have to wait till we have a dark night, mess with the mount and see if i can make it more secure. then to see how long batteries last and what it does when it gets cold.. I suppose i've spent money on more wasteful things in my life so........

I have one and im not too impressed with it. Ive used it a handful of times and it seems dims to a faint glow now. Tried switching batteries, battery brands and it still does it. 50 degrees and below it seems to get finicky, and i have the subzero version. Youre right, the mount isnt great, i noticed i had to readjust after each shot. It is neat while it works, the one year warranty and limited service after one year isnt great. Wish i would have  just used that money towards my pvs14, which will be here as soon as tnvc ships it!

yeah that info would have been nice before i purchased this!!!! LOL. Yeah im not impressed with the light output and it does seem to jump around to much. I haven't even shot with it yet and it seems to move around on the gun everytime i look through it. Hoping i can sell it and recoup some money so it's not a total loss.
