some where I read about an inexpensive way to make the trigger pull easier
can anyone help? thanks |

the only thing i would suggest doing to a GI trigger, besides replacing it, is a bit of polishing.
Take a felt wheel on a dremel with some Flitz polish, and buff the contact spots a little. Clean and grease. Anything more is a waste of time, and you should just buy a Geissele. |

If you dead set on a milspec trigger ALG makes a couple worth a look |

trigger job
and lightening trigger/hammer springs smooth trigger break at about 4.5-5lb. no creep or post travel. best low cost diy mod. edit: i did not remove any material from the hammer/trigger contact point listed in the first link, but polished it with fritz with a dremel. did not cut the hammer either. just polished, add a set screw, and bent the hammer/trigger springs. |
