I am looking for a really small case that i can put a dissasembled AR in (upper seperated from lower) I would say that its about 20 somrthing inches long and has straps on the inside so you can secure the upper and lower. If Im not making any sense I can draw a picture...

THANKS

Look at the "discrete" (rectangle) cases from places like Eagle, Blackhawk, Tac-Force, etc.  Most of them have loops inside to attach the rifle, though usually only one set, and some come in pretty short lengths.

Draw a picture!  Not to many here do, see if you can beat CapnCrunch's famous Tacpoint/Titanic drawing:

I am looking for the same thing.  I was thinking BlackHawk or Tac-Force.  Do you guys think 26" is large enough for a 16" M4 dissasembled?

I don't know.  Do you have an AR and a tape measure?

I think it would be, if you have the height to get both parts in there.  IIRC 31-33" or so is enough for an assembled M4 with stock collapsed.
