| a friend of mine bought an AR kit, the complete upper, stock and all the tigger stuff, you all know the deal. all he needed was a stripped lower. well he bought one yesterday and we put it together. he bought a Superior adjustable trigger lower. and mine is a PWA lower, they both look the same, as you all know. so i put this lower together just like mine. the only problem is is does not pass the funtion test. pull, release the bolt it should fire, release the trigger you should hear a metallic click, it does not. we fired it anyway. full auto!!!hock.gifhock.gif. when you release the trigger the bolt is stuck in the chamber. you have to break it down shotgun style and pull hard on the charging handle for it to release. i say that there is something wrong with the kit. the disconnector does not look like mine 100% it is not the same size but only by a thousands maybe. my friend is going to buy another disconnector and we will see what happens, but i am racking my brains over this. everything in the lower is installed just like the book says. i cannot figure why it fails the funtion check. we would gladly listen to any information out there, or if you near me, here in central Texas,we could possibly meet to look it over. |

Check the back of the hammer. I have no experiance with a "Superior trigger" but it makes sense that the hammer would have to match the set up to hold a single fire rate. Just a suggestion. I live in West Texas so a face to face wouldn't work, damn shame because I would really like to learn more about this. Can you post a picture? |

| yes, we had the adjustment screw backed all the way out, still the same results. going to take the trigger apart again and take my AR apart (mine works) and compare the parts with a micrometer. it has to be something simple hope |
DO NOT FIRE a weapon that fails a safety check. This is Darwin waiting to catch up with you.
If you were in DFW - I'd inspect if for you. Just remove the entire trigger group, and reinstall it step by step. Ensure you have the disconnector coil spring installed between the disco and the trigger bar. |
