| I know this is a stupid question, but I don't have a manual. Which way do the batteries go in? Thanks! |

postive towards head theres two batteries. HEAD (+ -)(- +) TAILCAP ?? Have you never put batteries in a flashlight or any other electronic device before? HEAD (+ -)(+-) TAILCAP. For an incandescent lamp, it doesn't actually matter which direction they face when you put them in (as long as they are both pointed the same direction).

As long as they are in the same direction, an incandescent lamp will run. But if they are not put in pos + toward the head of the light, you can burn your LED lamp assembly up. Ask me how I know... An M61 of mine almost met its maker (figure of speech, not Malkoff), after I stuck it in my M951 with the batteries backwards. |
