real quick question for you guys. My girlfriend is going to buy me some mags for my birthday, and I am looking at the AR15 Magazine 30rd USGI NHMTG. This.
Are these quality mags? It says they are mil spec and the company has a contract with the .mil for them. I dont want to buy pmags, as I really like the metal ones. I just want to make sure my GF doesnt waste her money on a crappy mag. If these are junk, what are the best mags in the $10/each price range? ETA: what about these mags? I looked in the FAQ, ad it said these might be quality. |

NHMTG Mags are considered top quality by most, right there with Okay mags. I personally go with DH for my go-to mag supply. They're teflon finished, which is nice, and with the latest Teflon treated Magpul follower upgrade they're smooth as butter. Best of all, theyr'e under $9 from 44Mag.com, a great site sponsor. Everybody has their own opinion, but most will agree that you can't go wrong with NHMTG, Okay, Colt, DH, DSG etc. Everybody seems to drink the PMag coolaid, and I own a few, but still love my aluminum (sp?) mags and carry them for duty.
