I love the combo, but most here do not cause that say its heavy.

I use a Micro Aimpoint with a Eotech G33 magnifier so my total weight is 17 oz which is the same as most of the 1-4 scopes without a mount.

Understand that the setup is a "CQB" first, distance last set up if you know what I mean. With that being said Ive hit steal out to 400 off a bench with ease. I mainly use my magnifier to observe targets and then engage if they are far enough, and imo 1-4 scopes cant beat a red dot on 1x in almost all positions when it comes to speed. While a magnifier can compete out to 400 yards, but past that you will need to know your hold overs.

Love mine. (EXPS w/ Eotech magnifier)

When buying your rds keep in mind that the dot gets magnified as well. If you have a 4 moa dot, it will cover a lot of your target at distance.

Target magnifies as well so it makes no difference really.

At least not to my eyes.

I guess you're right. But unmagnified a 4 moa dot gets on my nerves.
