| has anyone made a heavy weight buffer for a tele-stock to slow the cycle rate down a bit on a short barrel, if so what was the weight of the buffer. i know one could be made for what is being asked for one. thanks jim |

First, I don't have the experience in this you seek, so take it for what its worth. Have you thought of weighting the bolt carrier instead? I've seen carrier weights such as [url=http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/598476]Tubb AR 15 "CWS" Carrier Weight System[/url] that don't look to hard to make, but as I said, I may be talking through my hat. |

Don't know what kind of carrier you have in your piece, but if it's one of the current full cutaway types, you can add nearly an ounce of weight by installing an M16 carrier with the bottom shoulder cut back about 1/4 of an inch so it won't trip an auto sear any more. Or, you can buy a Colt heavy weight buffer, for about $25. Or you can do the homebuilt stuff and hope it works[:D] |
