| Looking for a complete mid length rifle, with rail, front sight post, rear sight (carry or folding), chrome lined, at around 800. Seems everything I find are carbines or not in stock. Will be buying in roughly 2wks. Been window shopping pretty hard online. Was almost ready to commit to a 6920, but the longer handguards, sight radius, and softer recoil are very appealing to me. My knowledge is limited to what I've read on this forum. Appreciate any suggestions. Go ahead and assume my life will depend on this rifle. If I cant find exactly what I want, ill get a MOE 6920. |

Apologies.
I was under the impression all mid lengths were 16" barrel and all carbines were 14.5"........ I would like a 16" for not having to pin flash hider if I choose to change, but I also think with added weight of longer handguards I would appreciate the shorter barrel for less weight up front. For now, ill just say it doesn't matter. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. |

I'm looking to get a rifle of basically the same specs.... I decided to do a complete build, which i think will bring me in at between $700 and $800 depending on the options I go with. There are some great prices on receivers, parts kits, etc right now.
Also, watch PSA, they have 16 in. mid-length uppers pretty regularly at a good price, and i've never seen better deals on complete lowers than their blem's (believe they were $119 a few weeks back). |

A standard bbl BCM upper with BCG and CH is going to run like $515 or so shipped. Add MOE handguard and rear sight, put it on a lower and be GTG.
I know you mentioned that you wanted a complete rifle, but in case you're worried about having to "build" something you might not be familiar with, you can just buy a complete lower to put it on and it's as simple as pinning them together. |
