| Can I install a "mid length" handguard on a car system just by using a lo profile gas block?Or would it be better to just use the 2 piece car system, I just wanted to add more "rail estate" than a car system, and use a rail flip up front site. |

yes. You will have to use a low profile gas block. Some gas blocks dont fit under certain rails so just make sure you buy the right combo. Another idea would be to buy an extended carbine rail. They have a cut out that allows you to keep your stock front site base. |
