i have a bushy m4 a3 and am starting to look for a rail mount system for items such as optics, lighting, and new iron sights.  I would like to get a freefloat system but am unsure what to get, My spending is about $200-$300. Also i am wondering if i should have a gunsmith install the rails or if i can do it my self.  any info on setups would be great and any info on installing would be good too

The easiest route would be to get a rail system like the Troy, Samson or MI that dont require that you remove the barrel for installation. You only need to cut off the delta ring assembly with a dremel tool. Its pretty easy, as long as you have a dremel tool. Just take your time. The 7" Troy rail will cost you about $210-$225 from several of the dealers here on the Equipment Exchange.
