Hi,

I am doing my first build, and the other day at the range I ran into a guy who had a RRA tactical muzzle brake on his AR.  I want one!  How do you install these so the correct side is facing up?

Along these lines, what is the difference between a crush washer and a peel washer, and which, if any, do I need to install a muzzle brake?

You can use crush or peel.  Crush is nice, because you just tighten, and stop when it is snug, and lined up.  Easy sleazy.

Peel, is just that, lots of little wafers that you "peel" away in order to get the timing of the brake just right.
