No change in recoil.
Unlikely unless it has a damaged crown

what he means in his as usual less than helpful way is -

you arent going to have any "recoil" change from different muzzle devices, but you might have a difference in muzzle rise depending on what style muzzle device you use.  This is often mistaken for a reduction in felt recoil because it is easier to keep your sights on target.

there are a couple muzzle devices on the market that claim to increase accuracy but reports are mixed on if they actually work or not.  one of the things you have to realize is accuracy isn't the ability to have your bullet go where you want it persay... it is consistency and repeatability in where your bullets go...  most of that is purely the shooter, 99% of the shooters out there CANNOT shoot as good as their rifles are capable of shooting, so dont think you are going to change out to a battlecomp and suddenly start punching out the center everytime.

if you are a competition type shooter trying to get a few shots on a piece of steel quickly that is where the muzzle breaks and comps really start to shine and show their purpose.

if accuracy is your main goal then you would be better off spending the extra money on more ammo and practice.
