I puchased an meavy machine gun upper  from blackhorne  (yes i know). I was  kinda hesitant about it but after reading some reviews, good and fair on other boards i decided to go ahead and buy it. now  we went to fire it today and i ejected the fist 2 reounds but wouldnt strip another one from the mag ( federal .223), next mags fired and didnt eject  the spent caseing all ammo was factory .223 no surplus russian stuff. after careful inspection  i notice that the reoll pin for the gas tube  wasnt drilled all the way throgh ( on the gas tube itsself).
Nowi ordered this about 2 weeks ago and i feel if i ask for my money back they will hit me with a "restocking fee" wich is bull sine something  was wrong with it at time of manufacture. Any advise? Its going back regardles, I have realy learned my lesson!!! I just figured I would give them  a fair chance ya know! Has anyone ever dealt with thier customer service? Every time i called today i got a voice mail, and I sent x4 emails....

Where did you read any good reviews about them or their product?

Don't know about their policies but defective is defective and most honest places won't charge restocking fees for their rejects. All you can do is call or email and find out.

And where did you find positive reviews on them?

Gas leak at FSB or carrier key, chamber issue, gas port not properly sized, wrong buffer or spring.

Are you running it wet?

So let me get this straight.....

You took the word of guys on a survival board from a post thats almost 2 yrs old versus the word of guys who know better on a gun board. Sounds about like you get what you deserve.

ETA: And also from an "OlympicArmsFan".

Sorry man

Blackthorn and Oly are two I flat out wont buy with your $.

They make and sell crap.

My advice, call them return it if you can and take what ever loss there is as a lesson. If they wont return it, get it working and sell it off and buy quality.

BTW Ask us next time!!!!!!

If they refuse to help you, you do always have the option of disputing the charge with your credit card company if you paid with one.

Try and address that gas tube hole that you said isn't drilled properly.
