| Well I finally ordered my lr308 ap4 they said it won't be done till Dec. but I won't be home from deployment till then anyway. My problem is I want to get a predator style full length rail system that covers my front gas block but I can't find one for the lr 308 only the ar10 is there ny other system that attaches on the top of the reciever or any other good ideas thanks alot |
I have several that will work, but fototime is down right now The RS2 style handguards will fit the DPMS. I have the barrel nuts that fit the DPMS to make everything match up. Note that the lengths are for an AR10 but wont matter if you are covering the gas block. May want a lower profile block as well. www.superiorweaponssystems.com/index.html I also have a few Rev 3 style full rail ones that are made for the LR 24" A3. These are not on the website but look just like the ones shown for the AR10 but are the correct length for the DPMS rifle. |
| Hey SniperX...any chance you will offer a flat handguard like the Badger? Badger is really pissing me off...I have a DPMS...short story is the guy I talked to at Badger is an idiot...I think it's been the same guy I've spoken to 3-4 times about my stabilizer. Anyway, right now Badger seems to be the only game in town when it comes to a flat bottom handguard. |

Aubie1, Check with George at GA Precision. He builds a lot of guns with that hand guard on it. I do not have anything in the works with a flat bottom for the 308. I do have some thing working with an AR15 platform with another partner in crime, but he will be the one to let the cat out of the bag when it comes, shortly. I do not have a real time line yet, but I would guess a month or better. |
