O.K.  I ordered my first AR-15 yesterday.

I purchased the Rock River Arms Varmint with a 20" barrel (through all your guys advice).  It has a flat top receiver and I will be mostly hunting Coyotes, fox, racoon, skunk and other varmints which are unlucky enough to cross my path.here
I have NO idea what kind of rings I need...  I have never purchased a rifle like this before (just the standard bolt hunting rifles).  I don't particularly like detachable rings or open rings.  I typically get the smallest elevated rings possible... What rings should I purchase?

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Get the lowest rings possible that allow the Objective Lens to clear the rifle and give you a good cheek weld.  I like the Leupold Quick Detach rings, but you need to get what suits you. If you are going to use this primarily as a hunting/varmint  AR, how about re-posting the question in the hunting forum too?

Either of the scopes will do for the job, personally, I like the Leupold but the Nikon has a bit more magnification...
