starting to save for a new ar but dont know what to get. at the moment i have a rra mid length and a bushy m4 style. wanted to try a different mfg or maybe a .308. in the same price range . around 1000 bucks. unfortunately i am in ny with awb still in place so its a pain always looking for pre-ban mags(no 6.8 ).

Something in a pistol caliber?  9mm or 45ACP?  Are you guys allowed to have AR pistols in NY?
