I recently put together a 16" carbine  using a stag lower with a delton kit. I am havinga couple of issues

Feeding issues: With three 30 round c products mags It seems the round that is on the right will not feed correctly. I have used two 15 round colt mags without issue.(300 rounds 1 jam) I plan on changing the followers to see if that helps. but is this related to a bigger problem  ------->

Related to that, If I pull the charge handle the bolt will not go into full battery. If I have the bolt held open and give it a firm hit it closes no problem(unless i have the 30 round mag).....

Last The trigger pin will wiggle out of place from right to left after 40 shots or so....

Any suggestions would be great....

Regarding the trigger pin:  The pin should have a groove around the outside.  Once all the parts are in place and aligned correctly, one leg of the hammer spring should rest on this groove and prevent the trigger pin from walking out.

Bolt carrier:  Check to make sure the key isn't hanging up on the gas tube.  I'd also look into replacing that magazine.  It sounds like there may be more than a follower issue.  The magazine may be seating too deep causing drag on the bottom of the carrier.

i to am having issues.
i have built a 16 in del ton kit on a dpms lower and also use 30 round cproducts. the round on the right gets jammed against barrel right below the feed ramps and most times the bullets gets pushed right back into the case. also am having the bolt not held open on last round.
while manually cycling the round goes right up the ramp as it should. and the bolt also holds open????
any ideas???

This is all too common on new mags... especially if it doesn happen on old mags.  Question - just load 10 rounds in that same mag... does it work now?  It might be your carbine buffer spring is weak, or the mags are just too tight.

What kind of stock/buffer/spring are you using, and where did it come from?

The bolt is always MORE likely to go into battery when pulled by hand. If it doesnt, you are riding it a bit... instead of firmly releasing it from pulled all the way back.  This sounds like your spring is weak... unless you are really riding it.

On the trigger pin - they cannot walk when properly installed.  Look at my articles - and make sure that your hammer spring legs are resting on TOP of the trigger pin, in the groove.  This holds the trigger pin in place.  Often people will slip the hammer spring legs under the trigger pin and this will happen.

Bolt not held open on the last round typically is a gas system problem, or underpowered ammo.  What ammo are you using?  I can also be caused by a new weapon needing a bit of break-in, or lack of/wrong lube.

See above for the round cramming.  The simplest test is to get some known good magazines and test with those.

Also - some ammo will do this.... and if you build a M4 receiver, with a non M4 ramped barrel, you can see this.

i was using a combination of american eagle, winchester value box and umc.
two times the winchester slammed right below the feedramp and once with the umc all three bullets suffered setback to where powder was falling out.
rifle has been broken in and after every range trip it is disassembled and lubed.
previous trips revealed no problems yet i was using 20 round mags.
possible shortstroke??
weak mags???
thanks guys
