hi guys im new to the ar15.com and new to the whole ar field i bought a spikes lower and now im looking for and upper i was looking at the m&a upper 20" varmint i do operate on kind of a tight budget and i am trying to keep the upper around 400 is m&a stuff good or is ther somewhere else i should go for the money thanks alot for any info shared

Welcome, this is a great place. I dont know anything about m&a so I wont comment on that. But for around 499 you can get a complete upper from spikes on Aim (site sponsor). And thats a pretty good deal, it comes with everything you need.

M&A doesn't have the best reputation, but there seem to be less complaints about them lately than in the past. That is a pretty low price if it's a complete upper

i like the idea of the spikes upper but i dont see a 20" on there

BCM has some 20s (all sold out tho). Are you capable of building your own upper? Its not that hard. If you can your options are unlimited. Pretty much all the site sponsors have good reputations.
