Hi all
I figured that now is a good time to put together an Ar15 ( don't want to use the word build  )
This is my first venture into this platform so I may be asking some questions as parts begin to roll in so go easy on me 
I will be in the Prescott AZ area in the month of June for RandR and will be stopping by JandG sales to pick up a stripped lower (CMMG) for $200ish  kind of high I know but looking at the transfer fees to order online I am right in the ball park.
The goal of this project is to learn the platform and keep the price under 1K and I figured a "build" would be the way to go. Any suggestion on LPK's and uppers would be great. Thanks in advance. |

Lower (which your already getting) - $200
BCM Upper - $475 BCM BCG - $160 BCM Stock Kit - $75 RRA LPK - can be had for around $75 Handguards on EE - $15 Total = $1000 The real problem is going to be getting ahold of all the parts. Just get on the email list for the Upper and BCG then be fast to buy! I believe they have stocks in stock. This would give you an excellent rifle that will be very reliable and right at your price range. |

Thanks for your time and the links provided I have noticed that the supply has not caught up to demand yet on parts. good thing I have all summer to complete this project. The build looks pretty straight forward. ( bet ya heard that before ) been reading and searching until my eyes feel like they are gonna bleed.
Christ 5.56 ammo has gone up good thing I still got good stash of American Eagle from the 80's when I sold my Mini.
