All,
Trying to help my father out with a scope and have narrowed the search between the Nikon p223 3-9 X 40 and the Vortex crossfire 3-9 x 40. Any pros and cons that any one would have. I personally own and love the p223 3-9, but want to hear other feedback pertaining to the two scopes. |

On the other hand, the Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40, which costs little more, is way brighter and clearer than the P-223. But it is not a tactical scope. Unless you are shooting beyond 300 yards regularly, you don't really need exposed turrets and BDC reticles. |
