| Hello hello, I have some q's if you guys don't mind? This is my first build attemp and first post, please be easy on me. I want to build a ar15 6.8 16 incher. My questions are these.. Is any standard lower going to do? I'm leaning towards a LMT or POF with an MRP. How much easier is this to build than a 1911? My 1911 build was a nightmare. I was lead to believe that with the right parts this should be simply a put together deal. I do have basic skills and learn quick , but how much gunsmithing should i expect to do? What tools do i need? I really wanna build this right. |
| How about an opinion on an upper. I'm stuck between the VLTOR and LMT. I hear good things about LMT but I haven't heard anything about the VLTOR. I want the versatility of changing calibers quickly. I been tryin to navigate around the site but get stuck checkin out all the sweet set-ups in hear and next thing ya know it's 3:30 in the morning,soo I figure i might ask what you guys think. Thanks |
