| How do you know what length people are talking about concerning handguards? I hear m4, carbine, etc lengths... how do you know which one you have? |

M4 are carbine lentgh but "fatter" and they measure 6" Midlentgh are 9" Rifle are 12" Then you have some of your free floating ones that can be almost any lentgh. the far right is midlentgh, the middle one is rifle lentgh and the one to its left is carbine lentgh.
