Im getting ready for my first ar, I bought the car 15 kit from RRA and I am buying a Stag lower.  The question I have is this...  There is a little black thing to the right of the saety selector, on the forward assist side.  It is directly above the trigger... what is this?  There is a good view of it on ar15.com's ar15 on the homepage.

K&N makes air filters, you want KNS anti-rotational pins. When you click on that link you'll see the Gen 2 design, but I'm pretty sure you can still get the Gen 1 set that is pictured on the ar15.com logo.
