ordered the 18" spr bbl group yesterday.  8-12 weeks before it ships.  is this normal time?  guess i will just sit here and twiddle my thumbs daydreaming about little groups.

He builds the uppers in batches, your probably at the the start of a new batch.  When I ordered there was only  4 left in the run and mine would have shipped next week if it hadn't been sent off to paint.

Mine took less than a week.

I had a photocopy of my military ID in the envelope with payment, I wonder if that made mine get processed faster.

It will be worth the wait, I guarantee it.

I ordered a 16" with VIS about 2 weeks ago.  John said it would be about 6-8 weeks, including the 2 weeks extra for ion-bond finish on the barrel I requested.  Patience is a virtue (or so I keep telling myself).

It is a Mega upper as well but with a Noveske 18" SPR barrel & matching bolt.

My 16" recon built on a VIS took 8 weeks - but it was worth the wait. They even put FDE Troys on it to match the FDE rail panels I ordered. Don't forget to follow John's and Wes Grant's(MSTN) cleaning instructions to the letter.
