You've already picked yours. Since your mind seems to be made up why ask our opinions?

Probably a CLP. Breakfree, Royco, or G96 (all are similar.... other than Royco smelling like shit).

FIREClean. I've used most everything else and prefer it to the other products.

Hoppe's No. 9........I like the smell.

One whiff and I'm transported off that desert island smiling back home with friends.

Good point in this scenario.

Mobil 5w30.

I first saw Afghan soldiers use motor oil on their AKs and then it dawned on me that motor oil is used for high heat, high friction environments.... my rifle is that.  I waited until I was back in the states to try it and I've run 5w30 on all my rifles and handguns (with some Mobil 1 synthetic grease for the M1 and a few others) since then with awesome results.  Screw paying $30 for 4oz of fancy crap, I pay $7/quart.  Smart.

I actually prefer Gunzilla, but in that scenario I would want Frog Lube because I could use it on my guns, eat it, and jerk off with it.

I use Breakfree CLP quite a bit....about 2 gallons a year and that is using other products as well for cleaning/maintenance as needed.

But on a desert island, I would have to switch to Frog Lube as it is safe to consume.

If only one product Ballistol.

If I could add a second it would be Fireclean.  I like that for post clean lube/treatment on the ARs and 1911s.

I don't use Breakfree CLP because I have a mix of other products that work better (because they each fill a specific purpose)  but if I was restricted to only one product it would be Breakfree CLP without a doubt.

There is a reason the military uses it.  It does everything well enough and simplifies logistics as well as training.
