Want to try some 3 gun in the near future. I cannot use red-dots as I have astigmatism. Currently the AR I'm choosing to use is a slickside M16 upper w/carry handle. I have an old 4x scope that mounts to the carry handle, its the same scope we used in the military back in the day (still has the rack # and plt # on it). Its works good for now but want to upgrade. Also looking to go with a slickside flattop for weight savings.
Went to our semi local shop where one of the guys there did competitive 3gun and showed me his rig. Cant remember the scope but was the same shape (just straight tube about 1" OD and about 5-6" long) on his flattop. Was very very clear glass and had some type reticle that I hadnt seen before but was also lighted if need be. But for the life of me I cant remember the name of the scope and cant get a hold of this gentleman. Anyone help me out or recommend something in the less than $500 range? Thanks |
