man i ordered a beowulf muzzle brake from them almost two weeks ago and still havent recieved it.



i emailed them to begin with and made sure they had it in stock and ready to ship and i was told it was. even called him right before i placed my order.


the shitty part is that they are located about 15-20mins away from me and dont allow pickups. how long does it take to ship to someone 20 mins away from you????


wanted to see if anyone else here has had any problems with their orders from competition shooting sports inc.



i figured they are a site supporting dealer so it couldnt be that bad



i have emailed them with no response. i was told right before i ordered over the phone and through emails that the brake was ready to ship and in stock.



man this sucks.

I suspect that they say they have product's in stock and don't , because I ordered ammo that they said was in stock , a week later I called to find out why it hadn't shipped and they said that they wait to get a lot of orders gathered before they ship. So I waited 2 more weeks ,no shipment . So I canceled the order and ordered from Impact Guns who had it out to me right away .

well when i talked to him they said they had 334fmj in stock too. good thing i didnt order it.


i got cases from midway which i ordered three days after i ordered from css and i recieved it three days later.




man this sucks!!!!!!!  im calling tomorrow and if it hasnt shipped out or they cant give me a tracking # since they only ship ups im cancelling

 They are drop shipping some of the stuff from Alexander Arms. I ordered an upper, and several different boxes of ammo the Sat. Before Christmas, and it was delivered in GA by that Thursday. I talked to them on the phone about when I needed it, and they made sure to get it to me then. I was happy with their service.

I've had real good luck with Arnie at Competition Shooting Sports inc. Emails answered in minutes sometimes, and he must have spend an hour plus on the phone with me, talking Beowulf and 6.5.  Some stuff took a little while to get since it was 'early' in the Beowulf cycle, and it had to be made (brass) first. But  he has been good at updating me with new bullets, etc. His emails to me come 'Digitally Signed' so that could maybe cause email problems? Anyway try him again, to follow-up, hopefully it is just a 'glitch' in the system, he has been a straight shooter and non-flake with me.

well he sent me an email just minutes ago and stated that i should be recieving my package tomorrow.


well see then.



hopefully this works out great and i end up being the ass about it.

Hopfully 4 you it will , but I my oppinion 2wk's to ship an item thats supposedly in stock when ordered is B.S.  I guess  I'm just too impatient , lol .

i was thinking the same thing, maybe after recieving super fast response and shipping from the other dealers here i have gotten used to it and consider it a standard now.


yeah it is B.S. that it took so long on a in stock item, but what made things so much more worse is that they are located about 20 minutes away from me!!

but i ordered the item a week and a half before this happened.



i have no problems waiting it out but there was no communication. well at least everyone is ok, that is what matters most.

Well your right about when you orderd....It would be nice if you could have just came by and picked up!

I do know that Arne has been very busy, and with the shot show coming thats not helping any.....

I ordered my Beowulf upper, spare mag and reloading dies from CSS the day after Xmas.  I received the upper and spare mag on January 5th.  I still haven't received my reloading dieshas
