| I am getting ready to place an order on some lowers. What info will I need to give them when I order my lowers? |
|
You need to contact the Dealer/gun shop that has an FFL that the person you're buying them from will ship them to, to make sure they'll do a transfer for you. Normally from my experience most dealers will for a small fee usually around 25 bucks.
Just check with your local FFL before you place the order. When you place the order give the person the contact information of your FFL dealer they'll usually can and set up getting a faxed copy or an emailed copy of your dealers FFL. Then when your lowers come in go fill out your background check wait the now 24-48 hours to get response back and you've got your new goodies. |
| Or call your lower dealer, find out what FFL's they have used in your state, call the 2 or 3 closest to you for an out the door price (in my area prices for a transfer vary greatly from $100+sales tax on the lower + transfer...... to $20 all in), pay the lower dealer to ship to yor FFL and come in for your NICS check when the lower shows up. |

That is absolutely ridiculous! My FFL charges me shipping costs. Paid him $10.83 and was out the door with a new lower |
