I just put a lower together and found an issue with the trigger group. It would not pass the standard safety check after installation. I even put it in a second lower to test out
and had the same result. I have never had a trigger group with an issue, have you? I think the issue is with the trigger bar or the disconnector but I am not sure specifically which part is at fault. I replaced the disconnector and trigger bar with some spares I had and it passes the safety checks now with no issues. I have contacted the manufacture of the trigger group and am waiting for their reply. This was a standard mil-spec trigger, nothing fancy. I am just curious how many of you have ever came across this? Thanks! |
| I had one in a kit I once bought at a gun show., If you installed the hammer and the trigger, safety would not fit, Replaced hammer and now I could get the safety in but it had about a 20 pound trigger pull., went back and replaced the trigger also along with the disconnector and after that It ran just great. |

The trigger failed to reset after cocking the hammer and then releasing the trigger, thus causing you to only be able to fire one round. What was the free gap between the disco and hammer rear sear? Hence was is just a matter of a bur on the front bottom of the disco that was causing the free gap between the two to be in greater than the desired .001 to .003 range, or was the disco just produced way out of spec instead? |
